freesource	56aae6038b	This removes any existing stuff under tmp/gbootroot in the specs if it exists, which can creates nasties when a build fails at -bl, and removed modules/CVS filter from gbootroot_pkg which didn't effect 7.3 or Mandrake 9.0, but did effect 8.0, now have to check whether this is working properly on Debian again. Not sure why these directories were causing a problem to begin with.	22 years ago

freesource	1578dff32e	Thought it was time to update the copy to 2003. Fixed a few minor bugs founds while running underneath uml. One percular bug pertaining to OPTIONS was found after running a uml from the uml box then closing it again making a new root_fs and opening it again the options were missing. Haven't noticed this on the host system before. Will also need to add a c program to determine whether the host kernel is tt or skas to auto-magically determing what kernel mode to run in.	22 years ago

Pretty cool, if this package was an official package it would use kernel-sources* package, but instead, I made some minor modifications since I don't want to have to dl kernel sources every time a compile is done, and kernel.org is still the definitive place for the source.	22 years ago

freesource	23c5e6f602	Have the whole uml kernel, modules, tools, and genext2fs properly compiling now that a new binutils was installed. Now need to make the helper_root_fs and Initrd with the uml kernel which was just made and should be just about there. This will all be done as non-root. Initrd.gz stuff is now set-up. freesource	1c8cd7185d	This deals with the changelog in a much better fashion. Before grabbing info from STDIN was endlessly buggy, Dch just grabs new info from the Changes file stopping when it finds a paragraph with ^---+* and produces a proper changelog in debian/* .	23 years ago
freesource	abc92cf316	The majority of replacements except for passwd*, shadow, and ld.so.conf have $Id$ and made by make_debian. Original CVS information is now preserved so that non-root users can't edit global replacements, the basic idea is that root will usually be using an editor like Emacs in $HOME/.gbootroot/yard/Replacements which respects that CVS versioned files outside of the repository are read-only. Users should make copies of versioned replacements which they want to edit, for instance: fstab.debian-1000	23 years ago
