set-up. Pretty cool, if this package was an official package it would
use kernel-sources* package, but instead, I made some minor
modifications since I don't want to have to dl kernel sources
every time a compile is done, and kernel.org is still the definitive
place for the source.
compiling now that a new binutils was installed. Now need to make the
helper_root_fs and Initrd with the uml kernel which was just made and
should be just about there. This will all be done as non-root.
Initrd.gz stuff is now set-up. This is nice.
info from STDIN was endlessly buggy, Dch just grabs new info from the
Changes file stopping when it finds a paragraph with ^---+* and produces
a proper changelog in debian/* .
$Id$ and made by make_debian. Original CVS information is now preserved so
that non-root users can't edit global replacements, the basic idea is that
root will usually be using an editor like Emacs in
$HOME/.gbootroot/yard/Replacements which respects that CVS versioned files
outside of the repository are read-only. Users should make copies of
versioned replacements which they want to edit, for instance:
